World History

Advanced 8th grader or high school students will learn about all the great civilizations of the world beginning with the Sumerians and Fertile Crescent peoples through the European Renaissance.


American Government

Advanced 8th grade and high school students will appreciate the brillance of the United States Constitution after participating in this class.

Middle School Literature

Reading comprehension, literary analysis and essay writing utilizing Newbery Award winning children's literature. Can be tailored to fit a specific historical time period.

Ancient Literature

High School. Reading comprehension, literary analysis and essay writing featuring great works of literature including: Three Theban Plays (Sophocles); The Iliad (Homer); The Odyssey (Homer); The Aeneid (Virgil); City of God (St. Augustine); Julius Caesar (Shakespeare)

American Literature

High School. Reading comprehension, literary analysis and essay writing featuring great works of American Literature including:  The Scarlet Letter; Uncle Tom's Cabin; Huck Finn; To Kill A Mockingbird; The Pearl; Fahrenheit 451 and many short stories and works of poetry.

Economics

Advanced 8th grade and high school students will explore the foundations of economics, the free market system, and command economies.

Financial Literacy

High School students will learn the basics of personal finance including: financial institutions, investments, budgeting, financial decision making.

Middle School and High School Writing

A course can be delivered to your student(s) online or in-person at your location utilizing Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum.
